The PowerProbe 30 Service Level responder is the world’s smallest comprehensive test solution for VoIP / VoCable / VoDSL service delivery testing and troubleshooting. Tests can be initiated from the Tektronix Communications’ DirectQuality R7 test automation OSS using a laptop. Field technicians however also have the option to initiate On Demand testing with their mobile phone handsets or PDAs using Tektronix Communications’ SMSDQ or PocketDQ respectively. Portable and Cost-Effective
The PowerProbe 30 is line powered and is small enough to be carried in the tool belt of any Field Technician. A straight-forward 2-wire connection makes it easy to connect to any phone jack.

It can test through wireless networks and VoIP environments with the appropriate media adapter.

Use your Mobile Phone or PDA
Tektronix Communications’ SMSDQ allows a field technician to use their mobile handset to initiate tests and view the results through SMS text messaging. PocketDQ allows Field Technicians with a web-enabled PDA to initiate testing. Results are shown as Pass / Fail.

Clear, Accessible Results
Tektronix Communcations’ DirectQuality server-based test system provides results evaluated on standards-based pass/fail criteria - with advanced drill-down for troubleshooting. Test results are centrally-stored and can be accessed by field technicians and NOC thus facilitating quick resolution of network issues.
