Tektronix Communications GeoProbe G10 probe serves as the primary data collection agent for Tektronix Communications suite of network intelligence products and solutions. The GeoProbe G10 probe features a distributed network monitoring architecture optimized to handle high volume IP traffic with native support for both IPv4 and IPv6. With the introduction of the GeoProbe G10 and Iris Suite of Products, carriers can now manage the exponential growth in IP traffic and new services from the mobile data network all the way to the data center environment. Operators will be able to troubleshoot transport, application and server problems that are related to mobile broadband applications for faster problem resolution and the successful management of higher revenue generating applications and services.

Two interchangeable GeoProbe G10 models can be upgraded as your needs change. The GeoProbe G10 may be deployed in combination with existing SpIprobes to provide a comprehensive view of the network. Tektronix Communications’ evolutionary hardware strategy allows network operators to satisfy current requirements while laying the foundation for advancements in network intelligence architecture and technologies. Utilizing the IrisView framework, operators may employ a variety of network monitoring collection agents — leveraging previous capital investments while at the same time migrating to the most advanced hardware at your own pace.

  • Scheduled group downloads streamline maintenance windows with built-in reversibility commands for ensuring upgrade integrity. All configuration changes are logged with UserID, Machine ID, and relevant timestamps.
  • Stability statistics including throughput, disk utilization/health and disk wrap times are proactively monitored with threshold alarms for early notification and system administrator intervention.
