IrisView Administration (Available with Version 7.10.1)

Description

The IrisView Administration (OAM) course teaches the skills needed to use and administer Iris Analyzer Toolset applications.  The student will learn system administrator options including how to configure system-wide properties, ports on probes, and view and manage licenses.  The course is comprised of lecture, demos, and hands-on exercises to reinforce key objectives. 

Objectives

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

• View and configure system-wide properties including LDAP server configuration using System Management
• Describe how to view and configure ports on probes using Probe Management
• Describe how to view and import users, assign user privileges, and topology permissions using User Management
• Recognize how to view and configure store-to-disk options, manage objects, and application specific properties (ISA, PA), using Application Management options
• Recognize how to view and manage licenses sing License Management
• Describe how to manage software version and patches using Software Management
• Identify and describe the alarms application and features in Iris
• Describe how to configure alarm policies
• Recognize hot to analyze critical alarms using the Alarm Dashboard
